YogaMass® is a unique worship experience engaging and integrating all of our dimensions -- physical, psychological, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual. It reconnects us, through sacred ritual and practices, to the divine presence among us, within us, and in the sacred meal that we share as we seek to be transformed into the likeness of Christ.
Yoga is a science of human experience that through practice and self-inquiry, leads to an inner knowing or consciousness within. The word yoga, from the Sanskrit word yuj, means to yoke or join together, and is interpreted as “union.” The practice of yoga is an ancient practice of coming into union with the divine.
Mass is one of the names for Holy Communion, Holy Eucharist, and the Lord’s Supper. It is the sacred meal shared in the presence and remembrance of Jesus Christ to mystically become one with him.
Integrating yoga’s breath work, body movements, and meditation into the sacred meal liturgy offers a uniquely participative experience for holistic wellness and well-being through yogic practices and awakening into the mystical union with God in our bodies and our souls, personally and collectively.
We invite you to come and experience what Jesus promises, “in fact, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21b.) When we awaken to and know our true essence, we are able to manifest our highest potential in Christ.
“ I've been receiving Holy Communion my whole life, and at YogaMass, this is the most sacred it's ever felt."
YogaMass: Embodying Christ Consciousness, written by founder and co-creator of YogaMass, Gena Davis. YogaMass bridges yogic principles and practices with Christian spirituality and worship as a path for bringing the whole self—body, mind, soul, and spirit—to the experience of spiritual awakening. This book is for anyone who desires to integrate yoga into their Christian spiritual practice or who is interested in yoga in its truest sense: Union with God.

"YogaMass is exactly what I was looking for. So simple and pure. One person said the experience felt so “humble” and that it made her feel like she lived in a small town where everybody knows each other."
